Create a B20 token

B20 is the token standard built into Base for regulated assets. Set up every part of your token here, then deploy it to Base.

Type

The B20 variant. Asset and Stablecoin are the two the standard ships, and they are set in the Base node itself, not by Berry.

Preset

Berry's layer on top. A preset only fills in B20's Issuer Toolkit for you. It changes nothing about the token standard underneath.

Compliance policy

Switch on only the rules you need. You can change any of them after deploy.

This is a strong power, so only switch it on when the law requires it.

Roles

Optional. Leave it empty and only the first admin gets this role.

Minteroptional

Can create new tokens, never above the supply cap if you set one.

Burneroptional

Can destroy tokens sitting in its own wallet.

Burn-Blockedoptional

Addresses prevented from burning.

Pauseroptional

Can freeze all transfers, minting and burning at once.

Unpauseroptional

Can switch everything back on after a pause.
