Berry Press
Common questions
Common questions
- Do I still control my tokens?
- Yes. They sit in a vault contract, and only your wallet can withdraw from it. Nothing is pooled with other people's deposits.
- Could Berry or its bot take my deposit?
- No. The contract itself splits every press, so the caller cannot send the money anywhere else. If every Berry server went down, you could still withdraw.
- What exactly do I earn?
- Four fifths (80%) of the fees your position earns. They are valued in USDC and added to your inference balance, which you spend through the Berry API. Berry keeps 20% as margin.
- Why is there WETH in my withdrawal?
- When the price rises through your range, part of a one-sided position turns into the quote asset. Withdrawing returns whatever the position holds at that moment: your remaining tokens plus that quote asset.
- When does my credit show up?
- Pressing runs every 30 minutes. Your credit appears after the next press that collects your fees.
- Is the return fixed?
- No. It depends only on real trading through your range. The calculator in the app shows an estimate from current volume, and an estimate is all it is.
- Which tokens are supported?
- See supportedTokens in GET /api/config. You can run the calculator on any Base token. Deposits open one token at a time, as each pool gets registered.
- Can an AI agent use Press?
- Yes. The agent can deposit from its own wallet and keep full control, or you can let its address spend your balance with a single signature. That permission never covers withdrawals.
