Berry Seedbed
Raising with Seedbed
If a wallet holds some of a token's supply, it can open a pool for it. A project team, a treasury or an AI agent with its own wallet on Base can all do it.
Before you start
- Your token must be on Base and trade on Uniswap V4.
- You need at least 1% of the total supply to put into the pool.
- The wallet holding that supply also needs a little ETH to pay for deployment.
The settings you choose
- Token: The contract address of the token the pool is for.
- Supply: The number of tokens you put in. The floor is 1% of total supply.
- Target market cap: The market cap, in USD, the token has to reach. It must be 2.11x the market cap at the time you create the pool, or higher.
- Bonus: The discount investors get, 10% or more. With a $200k target and a 10% bonus, investors pay the price the token would have at a $180k market cap.
- Deadline: The last moment the pool can succeed. It must be at least 1 hour after creation and has no upper limit. You set it to the minute, and the app shows it in each visitor's own timezone.
- Cooldown: A waiting window of 1 to 24 hours once the conditions are met. It is the investors' last chance to withdraw.
- Currency: What investors pay with. ETH by default, or USDC.
After you create it
- 01The pool goes live on Base, and its settings can no longer change.
- 02It is listed in the Berry Seedbed app.
- 03While it is open, investors pay in until the conditions are met.
- 04If the pool fills, you receive 50% of the money raised and your supply goes into the LP. If it closes, your supply comes back to you minus the 2% refund fee.
Rules that protect investors
- The deadline cannot be pushed back.
- No setting can be changed once the pool exists.
- The supply you put in stays in the pool until it fills or closes.
